Mangrove extent in the Philippines were derived from Sentinel-2 images using the Mangrove Vegetation Index (Baloloy et al., 2020). The data were produced as part of the IAMBlueCECAM Program and the BlueCARES Project. See Data

Blue Carbon Manual or “Coastal Blue Carbon: methods for assessing carbon stocks and emissions factors in mangroves, tidal salt marshes, and seagrass meadows”.
